The Indonesian island of Sumatra has a perfect climate for quality coffee beans. The balanced soil, combined with the location of the islands at the equator, creates a wonderful tropical climate for quality coffee beans.

There are three main varieties of coffee beans sourced from the growing regions of Sumatra, Indonesia: Mandheling, Lintong and Gayo. Mandheling grows in the north and is considered by many to be the best coffee beans Sumatra produces.
